~ Meg M. King's Artist Statement ~

My time in the art world has been all my life... as an artist and as an art patron. As I retired after many years in design that included architectural, interior design and interior space planning which involved "hand" and computer design / drafting.

When my life began to slow down I picked up my camera and began to shoot and create photography. A side note: Osteoarthritis began to affect about 10 years ago and progress so I couldn't get back into my sculpting life of the past.

I describe my genre, medium and style in photography natural, macro nature subjects with human qualities, sometimes abstract with my digitized photos, and quite often a sense of humor sprinkled in a few of my creations. Some photos are untouched digitally and others I love to move into Photoshop and manipulate the design in exciting ways.
